Location

The race starts and ends at Splash Montana and Playfair Park in Missoula, Montana. The address is 3001 Bancroft St., Missoula, Montana 59801.

Transition Area

The transition area will be a sectioned off portion of Splash Montana’s parking lot. Please note, ONLY registered participants will be allowed in the transition area. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Swim

The 500 meter swim will take place at the 50 meter pool at Splash Montana. You will be placed into heats, with the first heat starting no earlier than 6:45 AM. Each lane will have between 2-4 participants. Each heat will begin exactly when scheduled. We will not wait for you if you are late! If you go beyond your allotted heat time you will be pulled from the pool. The allotted time will be between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the estimated swim time of the heat. When you register please be as accurate as possible with your estimated swim time.

Bike

The 12.9 mile bike course will leave Splash Montana heading south to SW Higgins Ave. and from there the route will head east up Pattee Canyon Dr. for about 2.5 miles then return. It will then continue north towards the U of M campus where it will loop around Campus Dr. before eventually taking you back to Splash Montana. There will not be any aid stations on the bike portion of the race. Please ensure you have water on your bike if you need it.

Run

The final leg of the race will be a 3.3 mile run leaving Splash Montana around the baseball fields to Russell St., then north to South Ave. where you will then head east towards Higgins Ave. From there, you will make your way SW back towards Splash Montana.
